History of Item

Bernadus Antonius Van De Walle was a Carpenter in Holland and arrived in Australia on 28 November 1954 on board the Seven Seas with his son Ronald Leopold. He spent 2 years at Bonegilla before moving to Lavington and working as a removalist. This item was displayed as part of the Albury and Australia’s Dutch Connections exhibition held at the Albury LibraryMuseum from 28 September 2019 – 15 December 2019. Displayed at Bonegilla Migrant Experience from 15 March 2023 to 10 October 2023 as part of Australia's Dutch Connections outbound tour.
